The Meaningful Learning Forum - Call for Articles

The Meaningful Learning Forum is a new publication from Dr. Joseph Novak and the Meaningful Learning Research Group (MLRG). Each issue will focus on a specific topic which is of interest to at least some of the members of the Meaningful Learning Research Group. The primary purpose of this publication is to facilitate the reading and discussion of articles by MLRG members. The MLRG consists of current and former students and colleagues of Dr. Novak. You do not need to be a member of the research group to contribute an article to this publication.

Each issue will have two editors: a content editor and a technical editor. The content editor will rotate from issue to issue. Robert Abrams will serve as the technical editor.

The Meaningful Learning Forum will be primarily distributed electronically, via the World Wide Web, and on various kinds of disks. Printed copies will be made available on request.

For the first issue, we are looking for articles which explore the issue of concept mapping.

If you would like to contribute an article, send us an article proposal. The proposal should include a working title and a couple of paragraphs describing what the article will discuss. We will then send you a copy of our "Article Specifications" describing how your article should be formatted, and a "Copyright Release" form.

Once we have received all contributions for a specific issue, the issue editor will choose about 10 articles for that issue. The topic for the next issue will be announced once the preceding issue has been prepared and released.

Please send all article proposals and questions about the Meaningful Learning Forum to Robert Abrams at:
