Amtrak Train and Bus Connections
The San Jose Amtrak station is located 25 miles from UC Santa Cruz campus. Routes that serve the San Jose station are the Capitol Corridor and the Coast Starlight.
The Amtrak Thruway Bus Route 22/ Santa Cruz Metro Highway 17 Express shuttles you between the San Jose Amtrak Train Station and the Santa Cruz Metro Center. Local bus service between the Santa Cruz Metro Center and UC Santa Cruz is provided by Santa Cruz Metro University Routes. (www.scmtd.com).
