Student Health Outreach & Promotion (SHOP), and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), will collaborate for Mental Health Awareness Month this May. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) describes the awareness month as a “national movement, dedicated to eradicating stigma, extending support, fostering public education and advocating for policies that prioritize the well-being of individuals and families affected by mental illness.”
