Reserving the Women's Center

Nestled between the Pogonip Natural Reserve and the base of campus, the Women's Center is an ideal location for department meetings, relaxation, retreats, and social gatherings. It is open to all students, staff, and faculty activities free of charge. Bridging the UCSC and the City of Santa Cruz communities, the Women's Center has also been the site of art shows, life celebrations, community meetings, and other events. The community is welcome to use the Women's Center for a small contribution .

The Women's Center is dedicated to supporting the activities of our communities. We ask that groups using the Women's Center contribute 1 hour of "Center Beautification" time to support the work of the Women's Center.

June 2008 begins our yearly Spring Cleaning. If you or your group has used the Women's Center, please sign-up for your "Center Beautification" time with:

1) Call 831-459-2291 or email women@ucsc.edu
2) WC staff will check facility availability.
3) If available, we'll schedule a walk-through of the Center to familiar you with lock-up/access procedure and event clean up support.
4) Provide contact information for reservation.
*Student Organizations - please bring your SOAR Event Approval form at the time of your walk-through.

*Life Celebrations include weddings, birthday parties, social gatherings etc. Please contact 831-459-2169 for more information. Addition paperwork will be needed and fee paid to the UC Regents for facility use.
