The New Face of Americans

        Naomi Gomez was born on January 11, 1990. She grew up in East Los Angeles, California, with a loving brother and two extraordinarily devoted parents. She currently attends the University of California in Santa Cruz, where she plans to double major in Sociology and Community Studies, as well as attain her Minor in Education. Her passions consist of dance and the development of children. She hopes to someday become an elementary teacher at the elementary school she attended and believes her short height of four feet and eight inches will then be of great advantage. Naomi says, “I think because of my height they will think I am one of them!”
