Monday Night Dinner and Entertainment Information

Dinner on Monday night, July 30, will be at the historic Cocoanut Grove in Santa Cruz - along the beach boardwalk. Dinner check-in and the no-host bar begins at 6:00 PM.

We highly recommend and encourage the use of the free shuttle service to and from College Eight arch to the Cocoanut Grove starting at 5:30PM and running until 11:00PM.
Parking at the Cocoanut Grove will be available Monday evening (by permit). Parking passes will be included in your name badge holder if you indicated that you needed a pass when you registered for the conference. Please contact a UCCSC volunteer at the registration table if you need a Monday night dinner parking pass or have questions.

At registration check in, each conference attendee will receive tickets to use after dinner at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for rides (1 ticket per ride). They are included in your "Cocoanut Grove" envelope in your packet.

The sit-down dinner begins at 7:00 PM located in the beautiful Cocoanut Grove's Sun Room. Please bring your name badge as it is your ticket to enter the dinner.

Dinner is a full course meal serving four different salads, vegetables, potatoes, bread, chicken with a garlic & sherry cream sauce, fresh salmon with a dill sauce, and spinach and mushroom lasagne, along with several desserts.

The Cocoanut Grove is a California State historic landmark with views that overlook the beautiful beach. The Cocoanut Grove is located right next door to another historical landmark - the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk that still has the Giant Dipper, a classic wooden roller coaster, since it first opened in 1924.

After dinner, join your colleagues for a fun evening at the Beach Boardwalk!
