How To Join A UC Santa Cruz Vanpool
Step 1
Review the routes, schedules, locations and fares information page and locate the van that would work best for you.
Step 2
Contact the vanpool coordinator or call 831-459-4289 and include the following information:
• Your name, campus or home phone, email address if available.
• Your UCSC status: UCSC Staff, UCSC Faculty, UCSC Student, or Temporary Employee.
• Your campus schedule; when you arrive at work & when you depart from campus.
• Your home location - i.e. Watsonville, Aptos, Los Gatos, etc.
• Your current commute mode - i.e. drive alone and have purchased a parking permit, ride the bus, carpool with another UCSC commuter.
• Let us know what type of parking permit you have, if any.
• How long you plan to use the vanpool - i.e. one quarter, for the academic year, or year-round.
The vanpool coordinator will use this information to determine if there is a vacancy in a vanpool
that meets your needs.
