Graduate Students Working as Staff During Summer 2009

Graduate students with a teaching or research appointment during summer 2009 may purchase a Staff/Faculty bus pass by using the on-line application (enter any seven digit number in the vehicle license number field). Graduate students without a summer appointment may purchase a Quarterly bus pass from the TAPS Sales Office.

Undergraduate Students Working On Campus for Summer 2009

Eligible undergraduate students working on–campus during summer months and not attending Summer Session 2009 may purchase a summer quarter bus pass from the TAPS Sales Office. Some campus departments pay for bus passes for their student employees; check with your supervisor regarding summer bus pass purchase by department recharge.

Students Enrolled in Summer Session

Showing a UCSC Student I.D. Card with a Summer 2009 sticker provides students unlimited rides on Metro buses from June 15 through Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Metro service for students is funded through your Student Transit Fee.

Continuing students can pick up your validation sticker at the Summer Session Office,
140 Hahn Student Services Building.

• Starting the first day of classes, new students can visit the ID Card Office with a photo ID and enrollment verification to obtain a UCSC Summer Session ID card.

Quarterly Bus Passes

TAPS offers a Quarterly Bus Pass for Metro bus use for eligible residential campus affiliates that do not qualify for a Faculty/Staff Bus Pass or a Student ID Card bus pass. Those eligible to purchase a Quarterly Bus Pass include spouses, domestic partners and children of faculty, staff and students that reside on–campus, including Laureate Court Apartments.
