How To Get To San Diego

• UCSC Recreation Department (OPERS) Holiday Chartered Buses - UC Santa Cruz OPERS provides chartered buses from campus to Los Angeles for students at Thanksgiving (Turkey Express)and at the end of Fall quarter for the winter break (Polar Express). Reservations are required and seats sell out quickly. Contact OPERS at 831-459-2806 for information and reservations. Note: These buses only go as far as Los Angeles; additional transportation from Los Angeles to San Diego is required.

• Greyhound - Buses depart the Santa Cruz Greyhound station located at 425 Front St. (next to Santa Cruz Metro's Pacific station) once per day at 3:30 p.m. bound for San Diego. A transfer in Los Angeles is required; please note total travel time exceeds thirteen hours. Contact the service provider for the current schedule.
