How To Get To Chico and Redding

Greyhound - For travel to Chico and Redding take the 12:30 pm or the 10:30 pm northbound bus from the Santa Cruz Greyhound station located at 425 Front St. (next to Santa Cruz Metro's Pacific station); transfers are required in Oakland and Sacramento. For Redding there is an additional 5:00 pm departure from Santa Cruz that also requires transfers in Oakland and Sacramento. Schedule is subject to change; contact the service provider for current schedule.

Combine Bus & Train Travel - Take the Highway 17 Express bus from Santa Cruz Metro's Pacific station in downtown Santa Cruz to make the train connection at the San Jose Amtrak station. The northbound Amtrak Coast Starlight departs from the San Jose train station once per day at 8:30 pm. The Coast Starlight train stops in Oakland, Emeryville, Martinez, Davis, Sacramento, Chico and Redding.
