About Parking in Performing Arts Lot 126

Guests and visitors attending Performing Arts events on evenings and weekends can purchase an event parking permit for $3.00 from one of the two "Pay & Display" paystations located in Performing Arts Lot 126. Event patrons may park in any unmarked space in the lot on evenings and weekends.

The paystations have two operating modes: one for weekday parking before 4:30pm (when parkers pay by the hour, and only for certain numbered paystalls), and one for evenings and weekends (when parkers pay a flat rate). Paystation permits are valid only in the lot where they are purchased. Paystations accept coins, bills and credit cards. For select events, including Shakespeare Santa Cruz performances, parking lot attendants are present in the lot to sell permits and direct guests to available parking.

Parking permits are required for parking in the Performing Arts Lot 126 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Campus affiliates holding a valid “A” or “B” permit can display their permit and do not need to pay an additional fee, at any time, while parking in Performing Arts Lot 126. Campus affiliates holding a valid “N” permit may park in the lot beginning at 3:30 p.m. Weekday visitors may purchase a single-day parking permit from the Parking Information & Permit Sales Kiosk located near the Campus Main Entrance (Kiosk hours: 7:00am to 5:00pm).

Note: Persons wishing to access McHenry Library on Saturday and Sunday may park in the Core West Parking Structure or in Hahn Lot 101 for free (weekends only).
