• Greyhound - Buses depart once per day from the Santa Cruz Greyhound station located at 425 Front St. (next to Santa Cruz Metro's Pacific station) going to Oakland. Schedule is subject to change; contact the service provider for current schedule.

• Combine Bus & Train Travel Option 1 - Take the Highway 17 Express bus from Santa Cruz Metro's Pacific station in downtown Santa Cruz to the San Jose Diridon train station. At the San Jose Amtrak station take the Capitol Corridor train to get to Fremont, Hayward, Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley, Richmond and Martinez.

• Combine Bus & Train Travel Option 2 - Take the Highway 17 Express bus from Santa Cruz Metro's Pacific station in downtown Santa Cruz to the San Jose Diridon train station. At the San Jose Amtrak station take the VTA Route 180 Express bus to get to Fremont BART station.

• Zipcar - a membership-based car rental program providing self-service access to vehicles on the UC Santa Cruz campus, 24/7. Daily rental rates are available.
