How To Get To Fremont, Oakland, Berkeley and other East Bay Cities

• UCSC Fremont BART Connector - combine travel on the UCSC Fremont BART Connector bus and BART trains to get to Fremont, Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, Concord and other East Bay cities. The UCSC Fremont BART Connector bus operates during Fall, Winter and Spring quarters on Fridays and Sundays. Buses depart from campus twice on Fridays and Sundays and go directly to the Fremont BART station. At the Fremont BART station transfer to BART trains to go to other east bay cities including Union City, Hayward, Dublin, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, Walnut Creek, Martinez, Pittsburg, and Concord.

• Greyhound - Buses depart once per day from the Santa Cruz Greyhound station located at 425 Front St. (next to Santa Cruz Metro's Pacific station) going to Oakland. Schedule is subject to change; contact the service provider for current schedule.

• Combine Bus & Train Travel Option 1 - Take the Highway 17 Express bus from Santa Cruz Metro's Pacific station in downtown Santa Cruz to the San Jose Diridon train station. At the San Jose Amtrak station take the Capitol Corridor train to get to Fremont, Hayward, Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley, Richmond and Martinez.

• Combine Bus & Train Travel Option 2 - Take the Highway 17 Express bus from Santa Cruz Metro's Pacific station in downtown Santa Cruz to the San Jose Diridon train station. At the San Jose Amtrak station take the VTA Route 180 Express bus to get to Fremont BART station.
