Free Remote Lot Motorcycle Permits

TAPS offers free remote motorcycle parking, by application, in these lots: twelve to fifteen spaces in East Remote Lot 104, six spaces in West Remote Lot 127, and ten spaces in Granary/Child Care Center Lot 118.
This program is available to all faculty, staff and students interested in cutting their motorcycle parking costs even further by parking remotely on campus. Commuters can apply on–line or at the TAPS Sales Office for a free remote motorcycle permit. Those with a current valid motorcycle permit who want to park in the free remote motorcycle parking areas can turn in their current permit at the TAPS Sales Office, receive a refund, and get a new permit valid only in the free remote motorcycle spaces.

Free remote motorcycle permits are available on a first–come, first–served basis.

Close-in "MC" Motorcycle Parking Permits

Special motorcycle parking zones can be found in most of the campus parking lots, for close-in motorcycle parking near buildings. All campus affiliates including residential freshmen and sopmore students may purchase a motorcycle parking permit.

Undergraduate Students & Graduate Students may purchase a motorcycle permit as follows:

• $198.00 for Annual "MC" valid from 7/1/07 through 6/30/08

• $165.00 for Academic Year "MC" valid from 9/1/07 through 6/30/08

• $20 for one Month, $6 for one Week, $2 for one Day

Staff & Faculty may purchase a motorcycle permit as follows:

• Multi-Year "MC" – $198.00 for 2007-08; permit does not have to be renewed. Any rate increase for 2008-09 will be reflected in payroll deduction.

• $198.00 for Annual "MC" valid from 7/1/07 through 6/30/08

• $165.00 for Academic Year "MC" valid from 9/1/07 through 6/30/08

• $20 for one Month, $6 for one Week, $2 for one Day
