Spring Tours
Weekday Sessions
All Spring Tours Visitors should enter campus through the UCSC Main Entrance at Bay & High Streets and follow directional signage to the Barn Theater Parking Lot - the first parking lot on the left after the main campus entrance.
If you are pre-registered for a Spring Tours weekday session should present your e-confirmation to the parking attendant and purchase a $4 parking permit. You will be directed to park and board a Spring Tours shuttle.
After your tour is complete you will be returned to the Barn Theater. If you wish to remain on campus, you must move your vehicle to the East Remote parking lot.
If you are not pre-registered for Spring Tours, tell the attendant that you are doing a self-guided tour. You will purchase a $4 parking permit and be directed to the East Remote Parking Lot. (Exit left from the Barn Theater lot and continue up Coolidge Drive. Make a left turn at the second traffic signal onto Hagar Drive. Turn right into the East Remote Parking Lot, park, and board a Campus Shuttle to your first destination.)
Weekend Sessions
Guests attending a Spring Tours weekend session should enter campus through the UCSC Main Entrance at Bay and High Streets, and continue up Coolidge Drive. Make a left turn at the second traffic signal onto Hagar Drive. Turn right into the East Remote Parking Lot. No parking permit is required to park in the East Remote Parking Lot on Saturdays and Sundays.
Special event buses will run from inside the East Remote Parking Lot to the Quarry Plaza starting at 9:00 a.m. (weekend sessions only). Please note that Santa Cruz Metro buses stop at campus bus stops, but charge $1.50 per ride. There is no regular campus shuttle service during the days on weekends, so your best options are to walk or use Spring Tours special event buses.
Driving directions to the campus can be found at http://www.ucsc.edu/visit/maps-directions.html.
