How To Get To Half Moon Bay


• Combine Bus & Train Travel - Take the Highway 17 Express bus from Santa Cruz Metro's Pacific station in downtown Santa Cruz to the San Jose Diridon train station. At the San Jose Diridon station take a northbound Caltrain to the Hillsdale Station. Walk to El Camino and 31st Avenue (.2 mile) and board a SamTrans Route 294 bus, which stops at El Granada, Moss Beach, Half Moon Bay, Montara, and Linda Mar Park and Ride. Cost estimate: $12   Time estimate: 2 ½ - 3 hrs

• Zipcar - a membership-based car rental program providing self-service access to vehicles on the UC Santa Cruz campus, 24/7. Daily rental rates are available.

• Enterprise Rent-a-Car rents to students 18 years and older and offers daily and partial day rates. 18-20 years old , reference account #UCSC18; over 21 reference account #UCSC21.
