About Metro Bus Passes for Faculty & Staff

The Faculty/Staff Metro Bus Pass is an alternative transportation program that TAPS offers at the lowest cost possible. During 2009-10 the faculty/staff bus pass fee is $8.75 per month for those eligible for payroll deduction; $105 annually. The faculty/staff bus pass fee provides funding to assist with the cost of billings that TAPS pays to the SCMTD to accommodate faculty and staff transit ridership. Note: For eligible Residential campus affiliates that do not qualify for a Faculty/Staff Bus Pass or a Student ID Card bus pass TAPS offers a Quarterly Metro Bus Pass, for the discounted price of $111.66 per quarter for Fall 2009, Winter 2010 and Spring 2010, for Metro bus use. Those eligible to purchase a Quarterly Bus Pass include spouses, domestic partners and children of faculty, staff and students that reside on–campus, including Laureate Court Apartments. Concurrent enrollment students may also be eligible to purchase a Quarterly Metro Bus Pass. Obtain your quarterly bus pass at the TAPS Parking Sales Office located in the H Barn (map) near the main entrance to campus.
