About TAPS Campus Transit ServiceCampus Transit service is supported by the Student Transit Fee; fare is not required to ride. Campus Transit Day Bus Service TAPS Campus Transit Operations provides daytime on–campus transit service, Monday through Friday, on three routes, The Loop, the Day Core and the Upper Campus Route. Campus Transit buses, sometimes referred to as "shuttles", serve the entire campus, including classrooms, the main entrance of campus, and the East and West Remote parking lots. All routes are wheelchair accessible. Limited service is provided during quarter breaks and summer; scroll to the bottom of this page for information on summer and quarter break campus transit service. The Loop operates at 10–minute
intervals from 7:20 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 7:20 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. The Loop runs both directions through campus, from east to west and from west to east. Loop buses do not enter the Quarry Plaza and do not enter the Remote parking lots or the Quarry Plaza. The Upper Campus Route service hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. The Upper Campus Route departs from the East and West Remote parking lots every 15 minutes at :30, :45, :00 and :15, providing access to destinations along Heller Drive, McLaughlin Drive and Hagar Drive. 2008-09 Daytime Service Dates:
Campus Transit Night Bus Service Nighttime on–campus transit service has three routes, The Night Perimeter, the East Night Core and the West Night Core running on 10 to 30 minute frequencies. Nighttime service is provided throughout campus, including service to classrooms, the main entrance of campus, and the East Remote and West Remote parking lots. Women’s Center and North Perimeter parking lot pick–ups are by phone request at 831–459–3228. All routes are wheelchair accessible. Night Campus Transit service is not provided during quarter breaks; see the Quarter Break Campus Transit section below for more information on our limited quarter break service. The Night Perimeter operates seven nights per
week from 6:00 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. 2008-09 Nighttime Service Dates:
Quarter Break Campus Transit Bus Service During quarter breaks Day Perimeter service operates from 7:30 a.m. to 6:18 p.m., at 12 minute frequencies, Monday through Friday. Day Core service operates from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at 15 minute intervals, Monday through Friday. Night Perimeter & Night Core routes do not operate during quarter breaks. Summer Campus Transit Bus Service During summer quarter Day Perimeter, Day Core and
