HEADLINES July 4th Transit Schedule Information Santa Cruz Metro buses do not operate on Friday, July 4, 2008. TAPS provides "substitute" transit service between the campus and downtown Santa Cruz on July 4th. Get complete transit schedule information for the upcoming July 4th holiday weekend. Supplemental Route 15 Metro Bus Service for Summer Session 2008 Additional SCMTD Route 15 transit service will begin Monday June 23, operating Monday through Thursday, and continue through August 28. Get a printable schedule. Need a Student Parking Permit for 2008-09? Eligible students may apply now for parking their 2008-09 parking permit. Some types of permits such as " C" permits, Apartment permits and Staff/Faculty Parking Permit Renewal For Annual parking permits and Staff/Faculty Metro Bus passes expire on June 30, 2008. If you want to renew your parking permit or bus pass for 2008-09 you can apply on-line now or in person at the TAPS Sales Office. Staff & faculty with “Non-Expiring– Multi-Year” parking permits do not need to reapply in order to continue using their permit unless they want select a different type of permit or purchase a 2008-09 bus pass. Summer Session Students - Apply On-line Now For Your Parking Permit! Summer Session students can purchase permits for the remote parking lots and for a limited number of central campus parking lots. Close-In parking permits for the top floor of the Core West Parking Structure can be purchased by commuting students on a first-come, first-served basis. Summer the Westside Longs bike shuttle operates on 30-minute frequencies at :10 and :40 past the hour from 7:10 a.m. – 9:40 a.m. • Summer Service Dates – 6/13/08 to 9/19/08 Please note: The Downtown Bike Shuttle will not run during summer 2008. We hope to resume this service in Fall 2008.
