The 2010 Meal Plan and Flexi Dollar Drive was a great success! Through your generous donations, we were able to collect 335 meals from 233 students, as well as 90 flexi dollars.

Your support helps feed locals in need during the holiday season!

Each fall quarter, SVC hosts the Meal Plan and Flexi Dollar Drive in conjunction with University Dining Services. UCSC students have the opportunity to donate their remaining meals and flexi dollars to the Second Harvest Food Bank, an organization that then uses the donations to purchase food for Santa Cruz and San Benito County. For every $1 donated, the Second Harvest Food Bank distributes $9 (3 lbs.) worth of food to our community!
