UCSC's Student Volunteer Center selects local nonprofit organizations each year that best represent our goal of connecting UCSC students with volunteer opportunities within the Santa Cruz area. Partnering with these organizations, we have set up individual pages for them on this website where you can learn more about their volunteering needs and how to get involved. Please check them out.

Welcome to the University of California Santa Cruz’s Student Volunteer Center (SVC). We are a university sponsored student initiated and implemented service learning program. Our goal is to connect students who want to volunteer with opportunities on campus and in the Santa Cruz community.

SVC maintains listings of one-time volunteering events sponsored both by SVC and/or community organizations, volunteer job postings, and a database of community organizations that have ongoing volunteer opportunities for UCSC students. SVC also sponsors campus events that promote volunteering, community involvement, activism, and service learning.
