Search Tips

Search is not case-sensitive
Search finds complete words unless * is used at end of word
Search starts at beginning of words
Search does not match segments in middle of words
Parentheses force search order
Phrase search is not supported
And, or, and not operators can be used. (Default is and.)

Examples:
boat sail
boat and sail
boat or sail
boat and (row or sail)
boat* not kayak

These search rules detail how matches are chosen:.

Indexed words must have at least 3 characters
Long words are truncated after 30th character
Words consisting of all vowels, all consonants, or all digits are ignored
Words with 4 or more consecutive digits are ignored
Words with 3 or more repeated characters are ignored
Words must consist of the following characters: a-z & # ; 0-9
Words must begin with a-z &, and must end with a-z ;
HTML tags are not indexed (except contents of comments tags)
