SPRING YOUTH CAMP

Check here in January 2009 for information on next year's spring break program.

Spring into Marine Science
Kids

Do you know an aspiring marine biologist? A young explorer who seeks new opportunities to learn about life in the ocean? Children ages nine to eleven are invited to join Seymour Center educators and Long Marine Lab's marine mammal researchers and trainers as we Spring into Marine Science.

PukaFive fun-filled days of adventure! Campers will spend three days working with dolphins, seals, sea lions and sea otters at Long Marine Lab. Teamed up with the experts, campers will gain hands-on experience in marine mammal care, training, and research. Then they’ll head into the field for elephant seal observation at Año Nuevo State Reserve, tidepooling along the north coast at Davenport beach, and a kayak expedition to the kelp forests of Monterey Bay.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity for your young explorer. Join us for Spring into Marine Science––a spring break week to remember for a lifetime.

• Sponsored by Paul & Carol Berman, Ken & Christine Bloome, and Stephen & Susan Karon.
