Dawn Gable
Dawn Gable received a dual bachelors degree from UCSC in Biology and Environmental Studies. She has been working off and on with SCPBRG since 1997 when Brian Walton acted as her senior thesis advisor. Since then she has worked as a field biologist on SCPBRG bald eagle studies and for UC Davis and UC Berkeley on avian studies in Venezuela. She is currently at SCPBRG administering a contract with the California Energy Commission through which research is being funded to develop solutions to reduce avian injuries and fatalities due to interactions with power generation, transmission and distribution structures.
