Personal Statement:

I have worked for the University for 11 years, all of it in the Financial Affairs Division, first for the AP Department and currently as a Senior Analyst for Financial Information Systems (FIS).  This will be my fourth year on the Staff Advisory Board.  I am the Chair of the Staff Advisory Board this year.  While I know that this year will be full of challenges with UC and State budget woes, I feel that we are in a great situation for change, and we must seize this opportunity and run with it. We have a very receptive administration both at the local and system wide level, and staff, as a group, are being heard and respected.  My goal this year is to bring the staff voice to the Chancellor, UCOP, and the State of California using advanced communication styles and advocacy efforts.  Under my leadership, the SAB will work to keep staff morale high and institute positive change for the future.
