Work/Life Balance Panel Discussion with Q&A

The Work/Life Balance workgroup of the Staff Advisory Board is hosting a short Panel discussion followed by a Q&A session on issues of Work/Life balance, including telecommuting and developing alternative work schedules. Please join us as we discuss current UCSC policy, the benefits of telecommuting/alternative schedules, as well as best practices and strategies for working with your supervisor to propose and develop an alternative work schedule or plan. Assistant Chancellor Ashish Sahni, who telecommutes on Wednesdays, will participate as a panelist via conference call.

The mission of the UC Santa Cruz Staff Advisory Board is to support both the educational goals of the University and the welfare and diversity of the staff. The Staff Advisory Board serves in an advisory capacity to the Chancellor and all senior officers, management and other campus parties or organizations seeking staff consultation, in accordance with California laws and UC Regent policy. The board is dedicated to promoting better communication and relations among UC Santa Cruz employees and administration.
