Hello UCSC community,

A heart felt thanks to the UCSC community for this opportunity to serve you on the Staff Advisory Board. I will do my best to represent the interests and mission of Board, by acting as a voice for the UCSC staff community.

Personal:

I am a native to the Santa Cruz area and prior to working at UCSC, I was a Community Service Office, at the Scotts Valley Police Department. I began working at UCSC in July of 2006, in my current position, as Assistant to the Manager, of Building & Utility Services. In addition to working with B&US, I am also the Assistant to the Director of Physical Plant.

Being a wife and mother of 3 - ages 14, 18 & 20, issues such as, managing work & life in a healthy balance and acquiring the tools needed to help maintain that balance, is very important to me. As a Staff Advisory Board member, I hope to contribute new ideas to address these issues.

When not at work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and our array of animals, including parrots, dogs and cats. When time allows, my daughter and I volunteer together at the Scotts Valley Fire Department and at Animal Services of Santa Cruz County.

Professional Accomplishment:

In March, of 2006, I was appointed and commissioned as a California Public Notary.
