Subject: PPS Web Inquiry Down

Dear PPS Community,

UCOP has informed us that Web inquiry access to the PPS Employee Data Base (EDB) will be brought down this afternoon for unscheduled maintenance. This is a proactive measure to ensure the protection of PPS data. UCOP is working on the issue and expects to restore Web inquiry access some time early next week.

UCOP will take down Web inquiry access at any time this afternoon, and we advise you be proactive and not use the Web inquiry function at this time. Navigation to the Web inquiry access will result in a (error) message.

Only PPS Web Inquiry will be affected; other Web Inquiry functions, such as PAN selection, should remain accessible and functioning. In the meantime, PPS users are able to access the EDB through the CICS application.

The PPS Office will notify you via email when the Web Inquiry access is restored and provide you with updates from UCOP as they are received.
