Porter Family Day

Please join us! Saturday, February 7th

Parents, siblings, grandparents and friends are invited to spend the day at Porter, visiting with us and your student in the midst of our usually-cold Winter. We look forward to meeting you!

Our model is simple and low-key, designed to give you as much time as possible with your student. We've scheduled a handful of offerings for the morning, and we'll leave you free for the afternoon - to spend the hours as your student would prefer, or follow-up on one of many local activities.

9:45 - Welcome by CAO Mike Yamauchi-Gleason
10:00 - Mini-Lecture by Provost David Evan Jones
10:30 - Q & A with our Student Panel (Submit a question)
10:50 - Performance by Porter Student Leadership
11:00 - Resource Fair and staff tables
11:30 - Student Musicians... to be announced
12:00 - End of formally scheduled activities

Our RAs will host arts & crafts tables for those who'd prefer an alternative to the seated program. We'll also provide a list of optional activities - or suggestions for lunch - for the remainder of your afternoon.

* Please note that lunch will not be provided for this event. If you wish to stay on campus you may visit any of the Dining Halls or Campus Restaurants
