Porter College Welcome Week Schedule 2008

All new Porter students are expected to attend Welcome Week activities. Some events are mandatory and are especially marked on the schedule. This program will help new students make an easier transition to living at Porter College. Please do not plan anything else Saturday, September 20 through Saturday, September 27. Students will need to be on campus during this period. Students will receive detailed orientation schedules when they arrive on campus. UCSC Boardwalk Frolic

Boardwalk Frolic :

UCSC's Boardwalk Frolic is Tuesday, September 23 from 6:30PM to 10:00PM. There is free bus transportation, free parking, and the doors open at 5:30PM. UCSC's own radio station, KZSC, will provide DJ music for dancing. Ticket includes $3 in Boardwalk Bucks for food. Students, staff and faculty are invited to this once-a-year event of rides, music, activities for the UCSC community. Tickets may be purchased online or at the Bay Tree Bookstore.
