Mary assists students in making appointments with Academic
Preceptors, answers questions, and acts as resource for the College

Lupe Allen and Bob Giges are the Porter College Academic Preceptors. You may make an appointment by dropping by the Porter College Office or calling 459-2273 betweeb 9 AM and noon, or between 1-4 PM. Lupe, Mary, and Bob oversee the College's academic program, counsel individual students on academic concerns, and review a variety of
petitions. They work closely with students on academic probation and
serve on the College Academic Standing Committee, which reviews
students for disqualification, for college honors, and for Porter
College Undergraduate Fellowships.

The CAO is responsible for the operation of the College, focusing
on
financial and administative policy, resident housing, student
facilities, buildings and grounds, and security. The CAO works with
the Provost to develop policies, student activities, and programs
in
support of the College's educational mission.

James and Ana handle planning, budgeting, staff supervision, and facilities
management for student activities programs, including student art
galleries, orientation and graduation. James is the College liaison to
Porter Student Senate. They also publish information materials

Porter students and schedules the dining hall and quad for events.
