Program Dates: January 14, 2008 - March 7th 2008 (Events Calendar!) Program Summary: The goal of the Adopt-A-Slug Buddy Wellness Program is to encourage all members of the UCSC community to become physically active and to learn more about improving their personal wellness. Program Challenge: Both buddies are to log their physical and mental wellness activities within the program timeline. Points are accumulated, and depending on how many points you have at the end, prizes will be awarded. All participants who accumulate the minimum number of points will be entered in to the grand prize drawings for new bikes, gift certificates, and other fun surprises! 3 Easy Ways to Enroll: Sorry! The enrollment period is over. Please try again next year! Activity Log and Other Useful Information: 1) Download and print the Activity Log for you and your buddy. Each participant is required to track their own activities and turn in and individual log at the end of the program. Incomplete logs will not be considered for raffle or other incentive prizes. 2) Program resource page. Check this out for other useful information! NOTE: You are encouraged to do activities with your buddy as often as possible, but at least one time a week! Points are still accumulated for activities done on your own. 3) Download and print the FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions). This will help answer all your Adopt-a-Slug questions and more! 4) All Staff & Faculty participants who are not Wellness Card Holders will get a free 3-day trial pass to the OPERS facilities. This will allow you access to our facilities for any 3 days throughout the program (expires 3/7/08). You must present this pass to the staff working the counters where you enter our facilities. To get your pass, please contact Danielle Lewis today! 5) Check out our Events Calendar for all of the exciting activities for you and your buddy! All events are FREE and open to the UCSC Community! Pre-registration is required for some sessions, so please contact Danielle Lewis to reserve your spot today!
