Intermediate Rowing
The Intermediate Rowing class is a co-ed, hands on six week course that meets two times a week. This class is taught using 2-person and 1-person rowing shells, with a majority of the classes being taught out of the harbor in the Monterey Bay. It is designed to cover
more advanced rowing techniques and the skills needed
for safe open-water rowing. This class is for students wishing to improve basic skills with an emphasis on
conditioning - interval and endurance.
After completing this course successfully the students will be certified as Level 2 Rowers and allowed to join the Rowing Club.
Prerequisite: Basic Rowing. Intermediate-level swimming ability.
