Welcome to the UCSC Rowing Club! Our club exists to give UCSC students, faculty and staff access to equipment that makes it possible to enjoy our beautiful Monterey Bay!
The Rowing Club provides members with either unsupervised rowing or organized rowing practices. Rowers are evaluated based on experience and skill level, which then determines what level rower they can become.
The continued success of our Club depends on Club members respecting the rules and taking care of the equipment we provide. These rules are designed for your safety and to avoid wear and tear on the boats.
Please familiarize yourself with these rules and have any questions asked and answered before you use the equipment. Knowing and following the rules is your responsibility as a Rowing Club member; violation of the rules could result in losing your Rowing Club privileges.
Common sense and good judgement are essential to safe and proper boat handling. Remember that you represent the UCSC Rowing Club to the Santa Cruz boating community.[More]
If you have never taken a class with us before or it has been awhile since you have, please come to one of our Check Out Days to find out what Rowing Classification level you are in our club! Remember to RSVP so we know you are coming and what you are trying to get checked out for! [More]
You can join us on our Google Group or Facebook page in order to communicate with other members or hear what's going on.
