The Turkey Day regatta is tentatively on for Sunday, November 22nd at 1 PM. It looks like the weather will clear, however there might be a big swell coming in that could close the Harbor Mouth. • Boats leave the dock at 1:00.
• We will try to hold 4 races if wind allows.
• Arrive early to rig boats, complete paperwork and pay fees.
• If you can't  make it early please let Siobhan know in advance so arrangements can be made.
• All other rules apply, so please keep reading down the page.
  

     
Fees:

$5 for club members

$10 for first time non-club members

$15 for non-club members who have already been a guest this month.

If you know others who are interested, remember the following:

• Each boat Captain must be a current UCSC sailing club member (the number of captains who commit will dictate the number of boats that can race.)
  
• Each crew member must have completed the UCSC Basic Dinghy class or have equivalent experience.
  
• Sign up as an individual. We will mix and match captains and crew to balance skill level and to encourage people to meet new sailors.
  
• All ability levels welcome if they meet the qualifications. UCSC Basic and Intermediate Dinghy class graduates especially encouraged. Experienced racers will love it too.

NO-SHOW POLICY:

We have had problems in the past with people signing up to race and not showing up. This ruins it for others who wanted to race, but were turned
away because all the spots were full and ruins it for those racers who showed up, but had no partner. For these reasons, if you commit to race and
are a no-show without prior cancellation, you will be banned from racing with us for a year. In this age of cell phones there is no reason for
no-shows. If you have committed to a race, call Tim or Siobhan to cancel if an emergency arises.
