Spot the Slug!

Guess what! Oakes has a new contest!

Every week Sammy the Slug will be wearing a new and exciting outfit and hiding somewhere on the Oakes website! So look around for Sammy and when you find him, click on him to enter our drawing for fabulous prizes from local stores!

Each Friday a drawing will be held and Sammy will crawl off to a new hiding spot.

• Your web browser must have java enabled in order to enter the contest!
• Contest open only to currently enrolled Oakes students.
• Winner will be notified each Friday by email and must respond (by phone or email) by the following Monday at 4pm. If the first winner does not respond, a new drawing will be held.
• One entry per person per week.
• College affiliation and enrollment status will be verified for all winners.

Spot the Slug Winners Circle

Week two: Camille Chitwood, an Oakes College sophomore, spotted Sammy's "Spooky Slug" outfit this week! Camille was chosen by random drawing and received a gift certificate to Streetlight Records.

Don't forget to keep looking for Sammy! The next drawing will take place Monday, November 13 (Due to the Veteran's Day Holiday this Friday).

Week one: Navneet Kaur, an Oakes College junior transfer student, won our first "Spot the Slug" contest! She spotted Sammy in his "Slugger Slug" outfit. Navneet was chosen by random drawing out of 88 entries received. She will receive her choice between gift certificates for Streetlight Records, Cinema 9, Starbucks Coffee, and Bookshop Santa Cruz.

Don't forget we will be holding drawings weekly until the end of Fall quarter, so find Sammy Slug for your chance to win!! The next drawing will take place on Friday, November 3.
