The Merrill College advising staff members are knowledgeable about academic and administrative procedures, petitions, degree requirements, deadlines, and much more. They are available for individual discussions about your academic plans, such as:
- declaring your major
- incorporating a minor into your program
- studying abroad
- participating in a service learning opportunity
The academic advisors can help you organize your options, make referrals as needed, and generally assist you with your advising needs.

The Office of the Registrar will certify a current student's enrollment for outside agencies, including student loan institutions, insurance companies, child care programs, banks, and employers. You may request an enrollment certification in-person or by mail.
