Merrill College offers its students a wide range of academic and experiential learning opportunities and support. Academic Advising is available to all students, and first-year students are required to meet with an advisor at least once each quarter for their first year. It is through academic advising that many students discover the myriad opportunities available to them on campus, and right here at Merrill College.
The Science Learning Community and Frosh Scholars programs are designed for first-year students who are interested in studying and socializing with like-minded peers. Classroom Connection is an experiential learning course aimed at second-, third-, and fourth-year Merrill students who wish to broaden their horizons by working in local elementary schools.
