As fellows of the GRT, students have support for approximately half of their graduate studies. To be considered for the program, students must have completed all of the requirements for admission to UC Santa Cruz and should include with their departmental application a letter stating their interest in being nominated as a MBRS/GRT fellow. Students should contact appropriate faculty to discuss their interests and faculty sponsorship. Applicants must also submit a letter, by January 1, to the Monterey Bay Regional Studies program office. The letter should include the UCSC department to which the student has applied, the student's UCSC faculty sponsor, and a detailed explanation of the student's interdisciplinary focus and interest in the MBRS/GRT. |
