Welcome (back), Kresg-ians :
We're beginning an exciting new year! Here're just some things that we thought were important and we wanted to share with you all.

Just FYI, this space will be updated on a fairly regular basis with new things to know.

 Smoking Reminder :
Smoking is not permitted inside any University building including apartments (including balconies), classrooms, and other facilities. Smoking is permitted in college parking lots and at least 25 feet from any doorway, window or vent. Residents of buildings 4, 5, 6, & 8, you are encouraged to smoke in the amphitheater (located near the College Programs Office).

 Fire Alarms :
Tampering with fire safety, including fire alarms, could result in college judicial action and University sanctions. Any information regarding a pulled fire alarm should be provided to your Community Assistant (CA) or Coordinator for Residential Education (CRE).

 Balconies :
There are a number of residents and guests sitting on the balconies. This is very dangerous. For your safety, we strongly encourage you not to sit on the balconies.

 
 Kresge Recreation Room :
The Recreation room will be opened M-F at 5:00 pm and Weekends/Holidays at noon. Contact the CA on duty to gain access to the space.

 Noise :
All residents are encouraged to keep noise at a reasonable level at all times. This is especially important when groups of residents gather in front of residential buildings after 8:30 pm. Remember, our general philosophy is that the right to quiet supersedes the right to make noise.
