Apartment Themes CA Apartments - These
apartments have CAs (Community Assistants) living in them. Living
in a CA household entails some extra responsibilities including
keeping a consistently cleaner, quieter apartment, strictly adhering
to the campus-wide policies, and hosting the occasional prospective

of CAs typically tend to become more involved in community leadership,
college life, and social activities and get a better understanding
of UCSC and Kresge.
Substance Free - These apartments are for
students who do not want alcohol or other drugs in
their apartment. Members of these households agree on behalf
of themselves and any potential guests of theirs not to bring
any substances into the apartment whether or not they are over

Single Sex - These apartments are all male or all female.
If this is requested by you it will always be honored.
Co-ed - These apartments are for
students who agree to live cooperatively with both males and
females. However, bedrooms are ALWAYS single sex and the apartments
are gender balanced.
