The Kresge Music Co-op provides a space where students and bands may practice instruments with amplified sound, as this is not allowed in the apartments. The Co-op is located adjacent to the Town Hall and the Owl's Nest Cafe.

Currently there are two types of memberships. The first is for musicians who want to practice their instruments in the Co-op. Membership fees are assessed yearly or quarterly. The yearly fee is $25.00 (may only be purchased in fall) and the quarterly fee is $10.00. Eight storage lockers for musical equipment are available at the beginning of Fall Quarter through a lottery. To allow as many people as possible to participate, users must share time equally. The schedule will be posted at the Kresge College Programs Annex each Monday by 12 p.m. Practice sessions can be scheduled Monday through Sunday.

The second type of membership is free and for students who do not play or do not wish to practice an instrument but would like to play an active role in the development and production of concerts within the college. These free memberships are available by participating in the monthly Friday Night Concert Series. For more information stop by the College Programs Office.
