- If you are unable to attend, please contact SHOP at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session.
- If you miss the CSW session for which you are registered OR cannot meet your completion deadline, please contact your Adjudicator.
- For unresolved questions and issues pertaining to your sanction, please contact your Adjudicator.
- For students referred as a part of a court order or judicial sanction, there is a $40 fee for workshop participation.
- If you will need disability related accommodations to participate in CSW, please contact the Disability Resource Center (831) 459-2089 or email DRC@ucsc.edu.
- For questions about CSW, contact SHOP at 459-1417 or email SHOP@ucsc.edu.
- CSW begins promptly and will require 2 hours to complete. Students who are late or leave early will not receive credit and must contact their Adjudicator for direction.
- Your active participation in group discussions, exercises and assignments is a requirement for successful completion.
- Confidentiality is key to participants feeling safe and comfortable about sharing personal information.
- Any breach of confidentiality will be considered a violation of your sanction agreement and risks disciplinary action (See Student Policies and Regulations Handbook, Sections 102.16 and 102.21).
- In the same way that CSW Facilitators will not pre-judge or presume knowledge of participants in advance, please come with an open mind. For example:
o If you are intent on blaming the RA, CSO and/or others for your sanction, then it will be difficult to process content, share respectfully, and learn from participants' experiences and insights.
- Anyone arriving at CSW under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and/or other substances will be required to leave CSW and report to the Adjudicator.
