Attend GSA Council meetings: The Council meets every first and third Thursday of the month from 6-8pm in the Graduate Student Commons. Many issues effect graduate education at the campus and UC level. All graduate students are encouraged to attend and get involved as this is where decisions are made that affect YOU!
Become a Department Representative: Each department with graduate students elects one representative to attend GSA Council meetings and share information with the students in their department. A Rep votes on all major issues facing graduate students, and reps who attend 3 meetings per quarter and serve on a committee receive $100 from the GSA in appreciation of their involvement.
Become a Committee Representative: As an active student organization, the GSA is invited to sit on a number of committees and work with important issues that affect graduate students. The GSA needs graduate student representatives to sit on committees to represent our interests and to report back with the details of the committee.
