24 Hour GSC Access

All graduate students can apply for a 24-hour access code to grant entry into the Graduate Student Commons. If you have never applied for 24-hour access you need to do the following:

• Take your student id with current academic term sticker to the facilities manager at the Graduate Studet Commons.
• Fill out an application at the GSC (online available soon).
• You will recieve a code from the facilities manager that will be activated within 2 business days.
• Share your code with no one, and abide by building policies.

Every fall quarter codes are deactivated until students verify good standing with the university. This is done by the following:

• Take your student id with the current academic term sticker to the facilities manager at the Graduate Student Commons.
• Your code will be reactivated once the facilities manager has verified your ID sticker.
• Share your code with no one, and abide by building policies.

Contract for Twenty-Four Hour Access to the Graduate Student Commons

I, as a Graduate student, student government officer or student government employee, I agree to adhere to these guidelines regarding twenty-four hour access to the Graduate Student Commons. I understand that I have general responsibility for the safety and security of the building, its contents, and the people in the building as outlined in this contract.

I acknowledge having read and understood the contents of this contract by my signature on the 24-hour access application form.

1. Doors may Not be propped open.
2. Visitors must be on official graduate or student government related business and escorted by an officer and/or Graduate Student on official business. Visitors must leave the building when officers leave.
3. Officers assume individual and cooperative liability for missing and/or damaged furniture and/or equipment.
4. No smoking, parties, or overnight sleeping permitted.
5. Keyholders/keycard agree to notify the Graduate Student Commons staff if they become aware of any facility maintenance problems.
6. No Fires allowed after staffed hours.
7. Parties/events require the prior approval by the Graduate Student Commons Facilities Manager with the agreement of the Graduate Student Commons Governance Board.
8. Authorized participants agree to notify the Graduate Student Commons staff if they become aware of any facility maintenance problems.
9. Share your PIN number with NO ONE

ANY BREACH OF THIS

CONTRACT MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF TWENTY-FOUR HOUR ACCESS PRIVILEGES.

GCS 24 Hour Access Application

Please fill out the online application or fill out application at the GSC. Once your application has been processed you will be notified by the Facilities Manager, and you can pick up your pin code during normal GSC business hours.
