Complete Your Financial Aid "To Do's"
After you submit the FAFSA to the federal government, the Financial Aid Office may send an email notifying you that we have posted additional verification documents. These requests will appear on your "To Do List" at MyUCSC. Examples of these requests include tax forms, verification of family members in college, and asset information. These are mandatory; you must complete your requirements in order for your aid application to be processed further.
1) Log on to my.ucsc.edu
2) On the left menu bar, select: Holds and To Do Lists
3) Select To Do Lists
You must submit these documents to the Financial Aid Office by the deadline listed on your request in order to retain your eligibility for university funding. Typically these requests are sent to students in March and April and the deadline for submission of the required information is June 1.
E-mail Communication
E-mail is the primary means of communication used by the Financial Aid Office. To ensure your To Do notifications are delivered directly to your inbox (and not your spam folder), be sure to add the e-mail address fin-aid-do-not-reply@ucsc.edu to your address book or contact list. Your ISP (Internet Service Provider) may have a spam filter that blocks emails from the UCSC Financial Aid Office. It is important to keep your e-mail address current at My UCSC.
1) Log on to my.ucsc.edu.
2) On the left menu bar, select Personal Info & Options
3) Select Update Email Addresses

Some items on your "To Do List" may require you to download, print and complete a form. See the "Download Forms" link on the menu to the left. You can also link to the Forms page directly from My UCSC; select Financial Aid and then Financial Aid Forms.
Document Deadline
| June 1 |
Final date to return requested verification documents to the UCSC Financial Aid Office. You must return these documents by June 1 or by the date listed on the request. This deadline is important to retain eligibility for university-funded financial aid. |
Verification is an ongoing process throughout the aid year. In order to prevent delays in your financial aid processing and /or disbursement, it is your responsibility to check your "To Do List" frequently and to keep your email addresses current at all time at My UCSC. Failure to satisfy all of your Financial Aid "To Do List" items by their due date(s) may affect your eligibility for certain types of aid and/or cause delays in disbursement of funds.
Please mail all completed documents to:
