Your Online Aid Offer
Admitted Students
If all application material is received by mid-April, every effort is made to post Official Aid Offers on MyUCSC by the deadline to accept your offer of admission: May 1 for frosh and June 1 for transfer students.
Continuing Students
Financial aid offers for continuing UCSC students will be posted on MyUCSC by the end of August. You will be notified via email when your offer is ready to review.
Aid Offer E-mail Notifications
You will be notified via email whenever a new or revised Financial Aid Offer is ready for you to review.
E-mail Communication
Since e-mail is the primary means of communication used by the Financial Aid Office, it is important to keep your e-mail address(es) current at My UCSC. To update your e-mail address(es):
1) Log on to my.ucsc.edu.
2) On the left menu bar, select Personal Info & Options
3) Then select Update Email Addresses
To ensure communications from our office are delivered directly to your inbox (and not to your spam folder), add fin-aid-do-not-reply@ucsc.edu to your e-mail address book or contact list.
Viewing, Accepting and Declining Your Awards Online
(1) Log on to my.ucsc.edu.
(2) On the left menu bar, select "Financial Aid," then My Financial Aid.
(3) Select the aid year you wish to view.
(4) At the bottom of the Award Summary page, click "Accept/Decline Awards."
This will lead you to UCSC's six-step award acceptance process, in which you will be able to accept, reduce, or decline the awards you have been offered. It also notifies you of important terms and conditions of your awards.
