Your Online Aid Offer

Students Admitted for Fall
If all application materials including items on your "To Do List" are received by mid-April, every effort is made to post Official Aid Offers on MyUCSC by the deadline to accept your offer of admission for fall quarter:

  • May 1 for first year students, and

  • June 1 for transfer students.

Current Students
Financial aid offers for current UCSC students will be posted on MyUCSC by the end of August. You will be notified via email when your offer is ready to review.


viewing and accepting or declining your aid offer

1 Log on to my.ucsc.edu
2 Click on "My Student Center" in the center of the page
3 In the Finances section, click on "View My Financial Aid"
4 Select the Aid Year
5 Review your awards then click "Accept/Decline Awards"
6 Read the information on the links for each award to decide whether you wish to accept or decline the offered awards
7 Report all other aid you are receiving including private scholarships by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page titled "Report Other Aid". Only report aid that is not listed on your aid offer.
8 Grant Permission for your aid to pay all UC Santa Cruz charges including miscellaneous charges like health insurance and lab fees.

To do this, return to My Student Center. From the "more links" menu in the Finances section, go to “View Student Permissions” to read about and to grant your permission.
9 Read Important Next Steps to ensure you receive the aid you have accepted.
