Financial Aid for Less than Full-Time EnrollmentFederal Pell Grant and some state Cal Grant awards will be reduced for undergraduate students who are enrolled in 6 to 11 units as of the add/drop/swap deadline of each term. Other aid may be reduced for students who enroll in the Official Part-Time program. Financial Aid for Less than Half-Time Enrollment Undergraduate and Graduate students enrolled less than half-time are generally not eligible for financial aid at UC Santa Cruz. If you want to enroll in a reduced course load but do not meet the conditions outlined above, you need the approval of the academic preceptor at your college. Meet with one of our advisers to learn how reduced enrollment will impact your financial aid offer.
