Normative Tables for the Hall/Van de Castle Coding SystemThe Hall/Van de Castle system of dream content analysis was applied to the dreams of 100 men and 100 women at Case Western Reserve University (5 dreams per person, yielding two samples of 500 dreams each). The results from that study make up "The Norms" to which we often refer. The pages listed below contain tables which present the normative data for all of the major content categories in the Hall/Van de Castle system.
