Facilities In-House Team

The Facilities In-House Team (FIT) was formed in 2001 as part of the Facilities and Asset Development Department. It is located at 509 Swift Street. The office area was completed in October 2001 and the shops are currently being built. FIT provides the following services to the CUHS facilities:

1. Management of the Major Maintenance Program
2. Planning and construction of small scale repair and remodeling projects.
3. Consulting on maintenance and project issues
4. Dining Service maintenance
5. Key coordination
6. Furniture warehousing operation
7. Energy conservation

FIT provides an efficient alternative for maintenance projects. Its goal is to make the CUHS self-reliant in taking care of its widespread maintenance needs.

FIT consists of the following full-time staff:

Tarun Bhattacharya- Facilities Manager

Pele Fleming- Operations Coordinator

Jesse Lopez- Dining Service Maintenance Mechanic

Luigi Dentone- Carpenter

Adrian Norman - Senior Building Maintenance Worker

The team also includes two dedicated student workers.
