Free and confidential counseling  assistance  is available for UCSC students from queer-identified and queer-friendly counselors through CPS.  Contact us at 831-459-2628 (24 hrs.)
Family members, friends, faculty and staff can also call with any concerns about UCSC students.

Trevor Project
This is the nation's leading organization for creating awareness about LGBT youth crisis and suicide prevention. They provide online support and maintain a 24 hour help line. Call (866) 488-7386

Santa Cruz Suicide Prevention
Operating with a 24 hour phone line that is anonymous and confidential, this center provides a safe space to express suicidal thoughts and feelings. They also have programs to reach out and educate at-risk groups. Lastly, they also provide grief support. Call (831)458-5300

GLSEN.org
The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network has been reaching out to schools for over ten years, attempting to create safe school environments for LGBT youth. This website contains many links concerning anti-bullying resources and ways that you can help make a positive difference in your community.

Cantú Queer Center
The campus resource center for GLBTIQQ students at UCSC hosts many queer social groups and support groups. In addition, the library has many reference books and access to various mental health services on campus. Call (831)459-2468.
